Whats Up With These People Trying to Scam Adsense

Anyone reading the adsense forum on a regular basis knows that there are so many posts a day by adsense publishers (mostly new publishers that i see from the trend) who are asking for help on trying to find ways to scam adsense. Can I do this, can I do that, what if I click on my own ad, what happends if I get banned, you name it.

WHAT ARE THEY THINKING? There is TOS that outlines the program policy very clearly.

How hard it is to realize that no one can get away scaming adsense or clicking on their own ads? The amount of time and energy spent trying to figure out a game plan on scaming AS, that time and energy can be well spend trying to develop the site, building links, SEO etc.

A publisher only gets paid once the account balance reaches $100. So clicking few time on own ad trying to make few extra penies will not get anyone anywhere. It is wise to think long term and be honest. That will serve everyone well in the long run and also make it easier for everyone else.

I'm thinking that it costs google HUGE amount of money in monitoring scammers and getting them banned. If google didn;t have to spend any money fighting scams, then everyone else would get a little bigger piece of the pie.

What is your openion? How much you think G spends weeding out scammers?

I have no guess as to the amount of money spent dealing with scammers. I do know that this is an expense that most definitely reduces the amount they are sharing with publishers. I firmly believe that it takes more time and effort to cheat than to just do it by the rules.

Of course scammers are ruining it for everyone. That's why these people operate under the annonyminity of the internet. If people acted like this in real life they'd get beat down.

I wish there was a magic bullet that would take out everyone that ever tried to scam people out of money in any way. Has there ever been a time in the history of the world where people were as dishonest as they are right now?

THe internet has done many great things for humanity, unfortunately it also allows people to be at their sleaziest with often little consequences. I would have to say that Google probably spends upwards of a BILLION dollars every year to deal with people that try and scam the system.

These scammers are possibly ruining adsense for everyone with all of this clickfraud. Since DP uses adsense A LOT, they should make it a bannable offense here at the forums if you try and scam adsense imho.

Yeah, we don't need any worthless scammers that have nothing to add to the community. I've read plenty of threads where people are blatantly asking how best to scam adsense. Those peopple should be banned immediately.

Why are there always threads about this? There's always going to be people who'd rather cheat the system than earn much more with honest tactics. Just like there will always be taxes. Just like there will always be death.
