HI, I never get goog income from adsense for search. I think i am doing some mistakes. Can anyone give me ideas or sample site how efficiently use the search box. I am getting more visitors, but search queries are very less.
With Adsense for Search you only earn income when people click on the ads displayed with the search results, if they don't click and ad you don't get paid. Don't expect much income with this unit.
I beg to differ. Depending on the nature of the website, adsense search can make good money too. At least for me, it makes up more than 70% of my commissions and i have more than 60% CTR for search as compared to only a mere 3.5% CTR for content.
The search is good sometimes, but most of the times it suck. Many people have the search bar on their toolbar, so that's where they do the searching from. I don't think they're gonna use your site to do that .
maybe if u put ur search at the button when one reads ur index and look for more date and use the search bar to get more info
