Who are they? What is their aim?

40% to 55% of the world's military budget, for 21% of the world's economy, it's a huge drain on US public finances and the future of the world and of its children.

By saving $300 billion a year (Total: $600B+ in 2007), the government could invest in healthcare, anti-pollution, energy independence.... etc. The USA used to be the world's largest creditor, now it's the largest debtor.

How is this money currently invested? A super nuclear arsenal, giant airspace program, top secret spy weapons, huge military bases abroad, $1B bombers.

What did the Pentagon achieve so far? The USD is collapsing, the US government lost its credibility on the international scene, oil has never been so expensive since the Arab Oil Embargo of the early 1970s, and the World is under Islamic terrorist and nuclear threat.... AGAIN, two decades after the collapse of the USSR. Now we have a nuke trade between Russians Iranians North Koreans and other countries. Great!

I'd like to thank the Pentagon for their amazing job! Keep up the good work!

We are witnessing the last days of what once used to be a pretty decent country. The theft, greed, ignorance of our public official are rampant and the government has grown to be too big and too slugish to compete therefore the end result is imminent.

Our military budget is at the low end in historic terms based on a percentage of our GDP.
