    because you're not allowed signatures

This is right dp is seriously the place to be, most forums ban us for advertising this way. I think this might be why DP is so hot and people love it :)

You have to look at both ends of the coin:

A well populated forum with constant posting is going to rotate the boards rather quick. As far as the RIGHT NOW click ratio, it will be high, however it will become quickly buried as more & more posts come in, eventually placed in archives or even deleted (Thus loosing the IBL).

On the other side of the coin, if you post in a Brand new or slow rolling forum, you get a lower amount of consistent traffic & your IBL stays in place longer.

You have to weigh out the 2, Myself, i post in both new (Slow) & Old (Fast) forums simply to get the best of both worlds.

I wish you luck in your search.... ;)

Ya, I had over 450+ posts & almost a Full GEM bar (Just needed 2 more) at V7N & without thinking about it, I did my normal sig link changing & hit enter with 3 links... (Again I wasn't thinking about it at the time, came back 5 hrs later to find that I was BANNED for life, No warning, No chance to say I'm sorry, GONE for LIFE. (You would think they would have a set character limit like most forums do to prevent a 3rd link but they don't) - I was just too used to all the 3 link forums or the auto character warning if you exceed it... My bad, no one to blame but me for assuming & not thinking, just a bit drastic of a consequence I think..

Funny when I think about it, after all the contribution, one mistake & WHAMMO, your heads chopped off... :p

They are pretty strict there in some cases, Lots of rear end kissing & if you don't kiss it, you're booed off the stage.. lol :p lol

I have learned the most from the dp forum.
However www.ewealth.com is also an excellent forum.
It is owned by the people behind procashaffiliates.com.
Of course as earlied mentionned sitepoint and the warriorforum contain a lot of excellent information as well.

I put my link in my sig and went on about life here at DP. My traffic doubled in less than a week. It's not saying much...it was triple digits...but still it's a step for a beginner like myself.

I have looked at a few other forums, but they all pale in comparison to this one.

I agree with jgjg warrior forum is quite good and since you are looking to advertise they have something called WSO (warrior special offers or something of that sort) so if you have some product it is a good place to advertise. Then there was this earnersforum which caught my attention. But nothing can beat DP its the best...what say people ?

Warriorforum blows. They lump the mundane crap threads along with the marketing and advertising, so you have to weed through several pages, JUST to get to them. One page I saw had less than half of its threads on advertising and marketing. I rolled my eyes and logged off.

And moreover they do not let you promote affiliate products. Your signature link can only have link to your product or website.
