I was reading this ebook, and it says that this is allowed because it has a border around the image. And yes since the TOS change. So just put a border around image and it makes it *Not attached* to the ad, seems like a loophole, anyone want to give some insight? I might contact google on this, seems like an awesome loophole if it works! Thanks Tyler
Not anymore. Google does not allow images next to ads any longer regardless whether or not images are separated from ads with a border.
Thats the whole point, then you should be fine. That images doesnt look like its apart of the content.
As soon as you contact them about a loophole they can close it. It is much easier for a company to close a loophole comparied to a state. dadcentral.googlepages.com/goverment.
Huh? State? Government? Wha? Anyways, those pictures where they are there are against the ToS - you'll need to either remove them or somehow show that they are more separate.
People exploit loopholes for years before the government decides to close them. The point I am trying to make is that if you have found a loophole and are inclined to use it do not point it out to the company.
1 inch, under what resolution? No its not allowed but i dont think theres an exact measurement. what you have there is def not ok though.
Well, here is the copy/paste from Google AdSense TOS: Publishers participating in the AdSense program May not place misleading images alongside individual ads In Google's terms this is called "Encouraging clicks". And the punishment for encouraging clicks is ban. More here: Google AdSense TOS
I posted another post wondering about this, what about using googles image ads as an *Attractive* image to improve CTR? Like this I know it makes me look at the text ads more, doesnt it for you to? Or maybe switch image to the right side? Tyler
Adsense image ad lol, should i keep it like that , or make them both text only. If you had experience with proxy, whats best?
I do have a proxy and I found that image ads do not pay well with proxies. I always put text ads only on my proxy site.
Im just trying to see if it makes the text ads get clicked more. You know how back then they put a sexy female beside the text links, and it increased the CTR? Same type of thing, image ad RIGHT beside the text links, i was thinking it might help the CTR of the text, but....
