    "Is my room-mate a thief?"

    Yes.
    Even if he is saving money, I suspect he also gets a 'rush' from fearing they will notice the huge, round lump in his... pocket...??? :confused:

    ummm...

    Did he share how he is able to hide a big, new roll?
    (I didn't read the whole thread, maybe this was already answered)

    ~~~
    Someday he might 'save money' by stealing from you. :eek:
    I totally agree, when you´re being dishonest and take someone´s stuff, then what will keep you from taking more if the opportunity presents itself. It´s good to recognize people for who they are early on. If someone takes from you even something small, then know not to trust them with anything big either.
    Well I think that it is stealing. It is his, and the place isn't intentionally giving it to him.
    Yeah - but when your friend decides to steal $5 from you, are you going to react the same way? I mean, it IS only $5... :rolleyes:
    the last person who stole from me (10 bucks) wound up stealing a 400 dollar camera from someone else a week later. So where does it stop? Do you think your friend would steal something a lot more expensive if he thought he would get away with it?
    by the way, how do you steal TP? I never understood people so small minded saving money at the littlest things.
    That's the problem - when we start justifying a theft based on the monetary value of the item that was stolen. I don't care if he stole a nickel. The bottom line: If he's willing to steal ANYTHING, who is to say he won't steal from you next?
    Hahahaha! Sick.
    But no, that would not be stealing. That's what it's there for. But if that happens, I would recommend not eating there anymore. :p
    I do think it is stealing, there will be people that are great at making up excuses as to why its not, kind of like pirating software... either way, I don't condone it, but its quite funny. :)
    To be honest, I steal about 10 cigarette lighters a week. But I also lose them to someone else. Everytime I go out, I wake up in the morning with 2 or 3 lighters and have no clue where they came from. Love going to parties and someone says ¨Dude, that´s my lighter¨ :eek:
    Its tp. The guys is broke. He wants to save a bit of money, even though I dont see how you can actually save by taking a roll of tp. I hope he is counting every single penny he has because if not, taking rolls of tp daily because hes "trieng to save money" is a pretty cheap excuse.
    Or maybe he just likes taking all those free stuff, like packets of sugar and plastic forks.
