I heard about people making over $1000 for writing an ebook. Is this true and if it is, how do these people find other people who want to buy the book, such as publishers etc? I wrote 2 ebooks about 50 pages in length. One was about making money online and the other was about stock trading. How much could I make on average for something like this?
I'm not an expert, but here's what you could try... write to the GURUs of the specific niches your ebooks cover... request them to read it and review it... seek their permission if you could improve up on the shortcomings of the ebooks and get back to them with the new version... request them to review it again and endorse it on your website for you, for a fair percentage of the commission on a specific number of ebooks sold... this not only gets you customers, it helps you improve on the matter covered in your ebook and also, gets you a great deal of knowledge and business with a GURU's un-ending support... I'm not sure how much you like this idea, as it may be out of your budget or plans... however, please let me know what you think of my suggestion... if you want something more economical, let's think of more ideas... I'll take up this one as a case study, and be willing to help you...
Yeah thats the problem, I have no money. I also realize this is what I am supposed to do but how do I get ahold of these people. It's easy presenting my ebook to them and getting it reviewed but the hard part is even getting noticed by anyone who can review it. Thanks for the suggestions though.
Well, I'll think about it... but, for now, you could try this... 1 arrow and 2 pieces of the apple... offer the ebook on your bigmoneyforum to people with xxx number of posts... or offer a discount, maybe... or start a thread and find out who's the BIGGEST player (money maker, I mean) and get him to review and endorse it for you (if you think that might work)... He'll be happy to not only review it and endorse it (as it could well be his 1st time on something like this), he may even help you sell more, just give him the SUPER AFFILIATE status (or something like that)... this way, your forum gets more content and hence, success... and you promote your book right from your forum and then, in other places...
You can sell it (that is.. other people can sell it for you) at clickbank.com. You will have a lot of affiliate people promoting and selling your e-book for a commission (It's better than try to sell it by yourself at entire price).
well... first of all you have 2 separate niches: one is making money online and the other is stock trading. now you have to target your ebook so that people interested in making money online will find your ebook and the same for the stock trading. there are lots of ways to promote your ebook... one of the best methods out there, methods used by super-affiliates is targeting with google adwords.. you can sell your ebook AND build your list of people interested in your niche in the same time... that meens you can do business with them again and again... another method is joint-venturing with a marketer who operates in the same niche as you do... preferably somebody who already owns a list of customers. but you can also write free articles and target your website were the ebook is located... in time, you will get natural search engine traffic wich is free and bigger then anything.. you can get as much as 10,000 targeted prospects checking out your website every week! But dont rely only on this strategy.. this is for long-term profits.. it takes time for your website to be listed in the search engines.. try looking for infos on SEO. and ofcorse there are a lot more other methods and strategies that you could use... the subject is very large. hope I could give you a hand... If you don't have the money for advertising, find it! Get a part time job if you have to. Having affiliates is, of course a good idea, but if you don't advertise, you aren't really going anywhere. You can also write articles for sites. Many will take free, good articles.
I have an ebook on Clickbank, and there are affiliates who have signed up to sell it, but so far I have sold nothing through CB or the affiliates. I do better with my own website for some reason, even though I haven't marketed it that much. I would suggest article marketing and forums.
With all respect but you have written books about stock trading and make money online and you can't spend money on promoting your book.
Start going to different forums and posting with your sig file. I believe that helps with linking. Michael
The links would be in to deep for the search engines to see. He would have to continously post to keep his links up near the front. And even then, that ain't sayin' much. Find the money and advertise, Burford. You don't need thousands of $ to get you going.
Why would people read an ebook about making money online when the writer doesn't know how to make money online?
