I see that yahoo has updated my inlinks....... and my site is full indexed.. but still no traffic from yahoo..

Yep: Y! is rolling out an update. I guess they are doing them every month now.

People talk of traffic increase today on russian webmasters forum.
But I can't see no positive changes on my projects.

 

I dont see any changes for my websites. Why google is moving so fast to bringing in traffic to new websites, and yahoo is so so slow?

Hi, I'm new here and to SEO. The order of my backlinks changed in Yahoo as well as my SERPS. I assume that Yahoo displays what it considers higher value links at the top of the list. Is it possible that Yahoo factors in Google visual PR in their backlink algo? I just received my first TBPR from Google and now my own pages are showing up much higher in the Yahoo backlink list. Am I totally wrong about this?

I'm beginning to believe Yahoo does look at pr. I have a similar situation where a new site just got pr and bam! I'm on the first page of Yahoo. There could be something to what we are experiencing, but I don't know if we will ever know the truth. However, it is kind of ironic that Yahoo did a major update just a few days after Google had a toolbar pr export.

 

In case you are not aware, Yahoo does SERPs updates reasonably regularly. Any PR related timing is purely coincidence.

 

i'm gettng more traffic from yahoo and msn then google.

 

Generally positive update for me too - thank you Yahoo!

 

My yahoo traffic dropped by 50 to 60%, the site has only been up for a month in its current state. I hope it recovers!
