The site is useless and very slow..... The fact that it brings up Zero results for 'sex' which is a bad start.... I always say never launch a new site (to the public) until it is tested and fully operational.... Maybe Im being too harsh. But it will take something much more special to kill google... but it IS possible
How do you know it's possible, if you've never worked on anything that has topped Google (nor has anyone else worked on anything that has topped Google thus far).
291k main page in 26 files for a SEARCH ENGINE? Good luck bankrupting yourself if it ever becomes popular. Something people often miss about why google is popular is right there in your face... the whole page is usually under 20k in two files... meaning it loads NOW, not sometime when your server feels like handshaking and when one's connection decides to let you recieve all the images.
I like the algorithm. Google should have the vote / unvote button like this. Could help to sorting useful and useless site for user.

Google has far less to fear from outside competitors that internal wranglings, issues and lack of customer focus. Rome did not die completly due to invaders, mostly it was due to their own internal issues. This story has repeated itself throught the ages.
The voting system is all well & good in theory, but they might as well have a large sticker on the homepage saying 'Game Me'.
