Nothing.. just observation.. Dude, I'm not American so it doesn't affect me who is in the office. Whatever I said is what I believe, you don't have to take it.. Reject it if you want. I'm not going to argue..

I have seen many politicians with 'I'm different' and 'I'll make the changes' and 'I'm the hope' stance. It lasts as long as they do not get elected, once in the power they all are same, more or less.

The things RP is talking about are almost Impossible for him to execute, if you think logically. But yes if you are in blind hope that one fine day he is going to change things, then Yepp!! Ron Paul is the one... Ron Paul is for president....

I can respect your stance, and I'll just agree to disagree. ;)

I was also very apathetic/disenchanted by the political system, but I've come to believe there are the rare few candidates who truly do what they do because they want to make the world better, not to enhance their own self worth. I believe Ron Paul to be one of those people.

I don't take him solely on his word though, I look at his actions too. He returns a portion of his Congressional budget every year, he has proven great frugality in his campaign so far, he does not take part in the lucrative Congressional pension program, along with many other things he has done. I realize you aren't going to sell everybody, and I'm sure there has been quality, trustworthy candidates in the past that I myself passed over as disingenuous and not the real deal. I truly believe, from the extensive readings I've done, videos I've watched, and research I've done, that Ron Paul is as close to the real thing as you'll see in Congress today. It is but one reason he will be getting my vote.

Overall, I appreciate your honesty, and the fact that you can express your feelings behind not supporting him. I may not agree, but I definitely value the way you're able to articulate and deliver your own personal beliefs. :)

If will be tough to get him on the campaign trail, as he's in prison until 2009...

Yeah, I believe it's been done before though.
Aren't we a screwed up country? The guy who lost elections both times running for President is in his 8th year of "public service", James Trafficant is in jail, and all 100 Senators are at large.
The only thing that doesn't make sense is that Ron Paul is not in a FEMA re-education camp. It really confuses me
