Blogrush incredibly low click-through

Well, the Blogrush "Dashboard" finally came online, and the results are underwhelming to say the least. I mean the Dashboard itself looks great, the idea seems great and everything. But there is NO TRAFFIC to back it up!

My "click-through" (i.e., people clicking to my blog via links syndicated on other sites via Blogrush) is like, 0.01%, despite thousands of impressions!! Surely it can't be THAT bad! Even accidental clicks would account for more than that!

    I have four theories:

    1) There is some major flaw in the reporting
    2) Way too many people have the widget below the fold and people just don't see it.
    3) The widget for some reason puts people off and they don't click
    4) Two or more of the above

I mean, I want to think it's a good idea and that it should work great, but the results just aren't there! I fear it is going to go bottom-up very soon if something major doesn't change...

You missed one -- BlogRush is a scam and the only people it benefits are the people who control it.

Never used it but I've heard the same things.

It was discussed quite thoroughly on this thread.

Well, I prefer to give them the benefit of the doubt. I mean, if you want a long-term business, there is no point in scamming people. Surely there is more to be gained from a successful business model where everyone is happy... I just think they haven't thought it through very well...

I agree with that, but isn't this the same guy that made money selling a DVD on how to sell DVDs? I don't know the exact history of that so I could be wrong, but I do know that this widget got me a whole lot of nothing.

Since phase 2 came it I can see my results and some of my posts have between 1 and 2% clickthru rate.

But most do have 0... It also depends on your blog title.

I think I might try FREE MONEY HERE ;-)

    Sincerely,
