Every religion has events which were terribly against the so-called laws of that religion. What we need to understand it, religion is not bad until it starts to affect others. 100% believe in evolution, big bang, expanding universe etc. This is simply because the evidence is overwhelming. The bible is a decent attempt to explain why we are and who we are given the lack of knowledge at the time it was written. However anyone who STILL believes it's an accurate description of Life The Universe and Everything is ... well, I won't be rude but I cannot take them seriously. However even though Genesis, the Flood, etc etc etc are palpably not true - does that invalidate Christ's message? In my mind ... it doesn't.

Yes i believe the US government, also the government where i live in the UK, and others too, slaughter of a countries own people is not unusual, a country wouldn't have much reason to go to war on killing half dozen people would they, they needed to make it big. All governments have corruption, just certain countries appear more sophisticated and can cover over things better, leaving things looking tidy.
Ofcourse. I am not saying you are wrong, it may or may not be. My only point is, why to waste time, effort and money on religion when you can do so much for others. After we die (now this is my theory) , we might come to realize that either there is god or there isnt. For a Believer of GOD 1. There is GOD - He is happy that what he did in the world was right. 2. There isnt GOD - He is not at all happy as all his time, money and efforts were just his mental block and nothing else. For a non- Believer of GOD 1. There is GOD - He was wrong. Maybe you should hear the truth 1. If im right: eternity in heaven with God 2. if i am wrong : ive lived a decent worthy life 3. If your right your dead and gone forever 4. if your wrong, the bible says you will burn in hell you obviosly no nothing of the bible, if you are wrong you will suffer for eternity.
