as humans, we are wired to look for truth / patterns where there arent any, eg looking at a clock, and you see 11:11 - it happens again in a few days..you think to yourself, "wow, ive seen 11:11 so many times, i must be psychic" (or something) - but no, think about all the other times that it wasnt 11:11...

same thing, people will fit biblical predictions to whatever they possibly can, be it co-incidence, or just plain silly..eg the 666 barcode thing..

I could provide examples from no end of sites, that will go into a bit more detail and require a bit more concentration showing how exactly the numbers do appear as mentioned.

In my previous posts i mentioned how i respect others opinions and choices to follow religion and believe in what they want to.

So for respect for fellow humans i will go no further and wish everyone a good day, i respect your choices to follow religion and hopefully you respect my choice not to.

    ;)

Your just going to get more religious books, what is funny to be, about 10% of the world doesn't believe in god, the 90% assumes we are the crazy ones, when religion has be the cause to more wars and deaths than any atheist ever did. How many men, women and childern did the christans slaughter when they captured jeruselasm.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siege_of_Jerusalem_(1099) you call this in the name of god?

Once the Crusaders had breached the outer walls and entered the city almost every inhabitant of Jerusalem was killed over the course of that afternoon, evening and next morning. Muslims, Jews, and even a few of the Christians were all massacred with indiscriminate violence. Many Muslims sought shelter in the Al-Aqsa Mosque, where, according to one famous account in Gesta, "...the slaughter was so great that our men waded in blood up to their ankles..." According to Raymond of Aguilers "men rode in blood up to their knees and bridle reins." The chronicle of Ibn al-Qalanisi states the Jewish defenders sought refuge in their synagogue, but the "Franks burned it over their heads", killing everyone inside.[1] The Crusaders circled the flaming building while singing "Christ, We Adore Thee!".[2] Tancred claimed the Temple quarter for himself and offered protection to some of the Muslims there, but he could not prevent their deaths at the hands of his fellow crusaders. The Fatimid governor Iftikhar ad-Daula withdrew to the Tower of David, which he soon surrendered to Raymond in return for safe passage for himself and bodyguards to Ascalon. [3]

I think you're dead wrong here buddy. Have you heard of Joseph Stalin? How many people you reckon he killed? After all he was an atheist. I say he killed millions.

Very true :) they want to be taken by the hand and told everything is going to be alright.

Religion ends up giving people excuses to kill another and they all say their god is in support of them and that its gods will, so they worship their god but when their in trouble they blame the god. :)

lol, you have it so wrong. Thought this was about evolution anyway. Yes im guilty for going of subject too, but lets bring it back.

Ill start by posting a link to a site i just found which gives 10 scientific reason why evolution doesnt work. Of course most of you will not bother glancing at it, because you dont want to hear hard evidence that you may be wrong

How many times must your attacks be addressed. Im not dodging anything, im just tired of beating a dead horse. You bring up one attack after another, What i think is just automatically wrong to you, so why bother.

If Christians lived how the bible tells us to in the new testament, there would be a great peace in the world.

Attacks? I'm just stating historical facts, like you claim to be doing, but yet with no valid source but a book written by men in the so called name of god. You do realize you don't have to reply me.

Your right to point it out being about evolution, i guess why im talking of religion quite a bit is because it doesn't seem to fit in with evolution well and the age of the planet.

I promise you that il check out that link as soon as i can today, when i can get a moment to read it properly, i dont mind opposing views to my own, i respect your wishes, i can provide you with days worth of information, without a single link, what is stopping me is a hectic schedule and no wish to offend you.

Whats your point though, those men claim christ but are not of him. A christian would not kill another. Read the new testament, it is of love and peace only.

You do realize that almost all of Europe and the Church were for the Crusades, maybe you should read the wiki entry about it.

You keep quoting the bible, I'm asking about then crusades not bible quotes, explain how people can believe in a religon that slaughtered men, women and childern in the name of god and christ WITH the entire church and europe behind them and still to this day not denouce those acts in the past? .... can some1 say brain wash?

Bush is doing the same thing in office, his religious beliefs got us into the place we are today.

God also tells us to obey earthly laws, the men that have killed were not doing so in the name of christ period.
