In business its the same as in life, when you get disparaged or treated with disrespect, you might take it for so long, but at some point in time you make a judgement call or similar

(if there is any left after all our deletions) and if you find any please post here

As we will sure be pleased to remove any/and all reference to 3rd Party Rating Systems or other similar non relevant stuff

We now feel free of unwanted encumbrances and can devote our Directory exclusively to the burgeoning Directory Market Client Base

do you mean you removed references to PR?
You should probably remove the sorting option as well.

 

Oh man, I really love Forplex! With or without "3rd part rating systems" it's still one of the best resources around!

Btw...you should remove the Alexa graphic too... it's a 3rd party rating system, isn't it? (and useless like any other)

 

Agree with that...on my newest project I'll sort the websites by date added...another plus for the newcomers

 

A good call, as you know coming from old school, i never seen any value in any ratings type stuff like pr - even alexia etc, to the average jo blow in the street this all means mumbo jumbo, and as a business i would rather that space be used to advertise my business, not used to display stuff that people other than those in the indusrty understand or care about.

 

Pete isn't that hard to understand... just that me makes stuff hard to understand.

As one of the voices trying to get the message across about 3rd party rating systems, I hope you didn't take any of my posts as being disparaging or disrespectful. I assure you - none of that has ever been intended (for any DP member).

And of course my reference of disparaging blah blah was never in reference to anyone on DP ............but of course it was directed at the so called Self Proclaimed Internet Law Makers who want to marginalize all and everyone so they can reap more $$$$$$$$$$$$$

 

Forples is looking even better

"Chat with this owner on the Owner Chat" isn't working. But I guess you are already aware of it.

I think "Contact Listing" is better to have than "chat" option. Though its just my personal view

 

Hey pete, I've also removed pr rating for sites and sorting by pr on LinkLister. left the stats on for now. Now I need a sort by date mod - anybody?

 

Way to go Pete!... I've cut ties too, and I'm soooooo happy I did. It's extremely liberating not to give those 3rd party opinions any credibility. Keep up the great work!
