    I don't like the sound 'You have a 50%50 chance, What if there are more than 2 people in the thread? Say 4, Is it narrowed down to 25%?

    I think there's some confusing wording between the FAQ and the Options in the User CP.

    Here's from the FAQ:

    and here from the User CP

    Which is it? When you participate in the thread OR when you start a thread?

    Starting a thread makes more sense and I believe that is the correct part of this.

    Sure! Not a ton, but it all ads up. If you're going to contribute anyway, you may as well get a few pennies (and sometimes a lot of pennies) per day.

    To really make money on a revenue sharing forum like DP, you have to a) start new threads (do not start unnecessary or you will get infractions and eventually baned) and b) participate a lot.

    My guess is that those super posters with 5,000+ post counts make around 15$ per month from AdSense. You cannot get rich from this amount, but as usasportstraining said - "it all ads up" :)

    It is not a get rich quick method. You will make a little but nothing to brag about. As buffalo said, you get a little extra in your account for something you would do anyway.
    If your only reason you are here is to make money on revenue sharing, you are really wasting your time. I think I have made $1.92 since I started.
