Do animals get high???

    I read a few things on the internet about this. Do animals get high? I heard that things like second hand smoke/nicotine makes animals high because they have smaller brains and lungs and stuff. I also heard that things like tomatoes, potatoes, eggplants and that kind of stuff make dogs and cats high. I was wondering about what you guys think about this.

    Also, can dogs get drunk from eating rotten apples from the back yard??

    I think they do. I read at some places about elephants or monkey getting drunk and being notorious.. :)

    Of course, thats how police dogs are trained, they make them addicted and then use them to sniff for drugs and bite drug dealers asses.

    hmmmmm....this brings up another interesting question. Do animals have sexual attraction to humans, or do dogs ever hump catss?

    Rats in lab tests preferred cocaine over food. There were two levers. If the rat pushed one it got food, if it pushed the other it got cocaine.

    The rats chose the cocaine over and and actually starved themselves to death!

    I have seen several dogs and even a horse, that loved to drink beer - and they definitely got drunk.

    Yep, and it was really a horrible experiment. I suppose that rats aren't cute and cuddly so people dont generally care about them.
