I'm looking for a free tool where I can plug in a keyword phrase and the URLs for the top 10 sites for that phrase in Google and it will return the keyword density of the title, text, alt tags, etc. I'm pretty sure I've used a tool like this in the past but just hunted around a bit and couldn't find anything. Does anyone know if something like this exists?
Keyword density is the number of times your keyword phrase appears on a Web page relative to the total number of words on the page. While it's possible to manually count all the words and then count the keyword phrase, there are many tools that you can use that are easier and give you better results. SeoQuake This is the tool I use to evaluate keyword density. It is a plugin for Firefox and Internet Explorer. It provides a lot more information than just keyword density, and it's quick and since it's a browser plugin it's always right there. It shows you 1-, 2-, 3-, and 4-word phrases and their densities.
I would suggest trying to tools at seomoz.org they have a good selection of tools for analysis for your website.
install firefox, then choose these 2 addons: searchstatus, seo quake both works perfectly for seo job.
SEO Quake + Google analytics works just fine for me, even though Google behave strangely lately, it seems.
You can try The Keyword Density Analyzer Tool at Siteopsys for free. The Tool checks keyword density in entered URLs. The Results processed by this tool show the Keyword occurrence in Title & Meta Tags with Total number of Keywords, Frequency & Density.
