If you go with this then keep one thing in your mind that through this you'll save at least $9.99 (if below $500) or $14.99(if more than $500) which you have to pay to xoom as their fees. ;)

PayPalls services improve a lot for people outside the US. First all my money transfers had to go by creditcard and now it goes via my bank account.. :D

I guess its only for banks in India and US as I cannot see any other country in the dropdown list.

I pray Adsense will also implement this. ;)

IFSC code of HDFC bank is printed in your cheque leaf. I called up bank today and they said that. Only after checking my cheque book, I discovered it was indeed true.

on your cheque book it would be written below your branch address
    RTGS/NEFT IFSC:HDFCxxxxxxx

I think normally IFSC code for HDFC bank would be HDFC0000(branchcode) of your bank.

    Hope this helps.

This is really great news, but exchange rate is pretty low (same as what they give us for cheque).

Yesterday, i initiated a withdrawal for checking will let you guys know the update and when the amount is credit to my account . (My bank - ICICI)

Ex. rate i got was something around 38.1 or close to that..

The good part is that there are no fees for withdrawal so lets up the rupee comes to around the 40 mark which will be good.

    XOOM offers

    Current Exchange Rate:
    US$ 1.00 = INR 38.1506

So better to go with paypal this time as we can save $9.99 (380 INR) in fees of xoom.
