Google's Matt Cutts confirms paid links & Google PageRank update "The partial update to visible PageRank that went out a few days ago was primarily regarding PageRank selling and the forward links of sites. So paid links that pass PageRank would affect our opinion of a site. Going forward, I expect that Google will be looking at additional sites that appear to be buying or selling PageRank." This confirms what I have been seeing for awhile now. Gregg In Response to the PERSONAL attack by Sem-Advance - I was merely sharing news and quotes from Matt Cutts. I believe in looking at things from all sides and yes I do follow the posts at SEOMoz as well. I really don't get some of you people, why you feel that your attacking a person personally makes you look superior. It doesn't. And as far as how some of you way the number of posts in this forum to be the end all of authority, that isn't true either. I have seen posts by people here with thousands of posts that had no idea what they were talking about - not mentioning any names. Try getting your point across without the unnecessary rudeness. You're not feeling well are you? Do me a favor and within the propaganda spiel above please take the following phrase and decipher it for us. I mean is there a backward links of sites? Is there a sideways links of sites? overhead or underground? If underground, should we call before digging? If so who??? Google? If overhead do we need the FAA involved? See what you've started listening to his dribble??? Hope you feel better soon and read SeoMoz for a more realistic appraisal.
