    You will not the TOSHIBA laptop with the same configuration as Lenovo (Tv Tuner, webcam, face recognition). I think there is one model available in Toshiba but it is costing more than 60,000 Rs.

    Yes you will get compaq or HCL and even Acer Laptops in the range of 25,000 to 30,000 Rs. but they are having AMD or Celeron Processors with 512 Ram and 80 GB HDD.

    Right now I will go with Lenovo only. I have talked with one of my friend(he has lot of contacts in same field) he will surly provide me some more discounts on Lenove. :D

    yesterday my wife got a new Dell Latitude D830 laptop and it is incredible. Wide screen, vivid colors and rocket ship fast with 2 GB of RAM, finger print security, and just about every other feature, including an upgraded processor. The system cost over 2K, but she if pretty much set for a long time.
    I personally have a Latitude D810, which is the predecessor to the new one she just got.

    they are heavy duty incredibly laptops and I have had nothing but success with them. Highly recommended.

    Lenovo 3000 Y500 is a very good one. One of my friend using it and I can say he is very satisfied.
