Just so everyone knows the price of eshopdaddy has increased to $69.

I am going to do a review of the program as soon as I get it setup on my hostgator account (having some issues :(

    1) They may not yet be a member of eBay.

    2) They may not be comfortable using the search function on eBay. Your store helps concentrate particular products.

3)They maybe doing a general web search and come to your site and find a product to buy.

    4) They may not yet have realized that they can go to eBay and buy your particular product.

    1) All of the above. Do what you would do to drive traffic to any website depending upon its content. Adwords make a bit more sense with a store setting, since you can spotlight particular products. But I think the content portion of a BANS store is very important to support and thus SEO and article submissions, etc. are important.

Error Message is "index.php was encoded with the PHP 5 ionCube Encoder, and requires PHP 5 to be installed."

Of course I should have not it would be an issue with my host gator account (PHP Version 4.4.4) as it states the requirements for the program on the website.

Ok. Not to hi-jackthis thread to talk about hostgator, but I have 2 accounts at HG and they have different configurations so it looks like they dont have a 100% set configuration standard. Thats ok, but a bit difficult also when setting up eshopdaddy, it works on one, but not the other.

Anyway a question to the people that have BANS. Can you paste lists of keywords straight in somewhere and get pages generated or do you have to type in every single keyword? And can you use custom keywords or just the keywords that have categories in aBay already?

Yes you can cut and paste keywords into each pages meta tags from your admin area (you do not have to go into html edit) and yes you can use whatever keywords you wish

So if I want to sell "red wooden machine heads" and 150 other machine heads I would just paste a list and there will be generated 151 pages with links automatic?

    For BANS.

To use a keyword value to generate a store page go to: Store Pages and select Create New Store Page. Type in title and keywords and description, etc. then down towards the bottom you will see a space labeled Search Query.

There you can type in "red wooden machine heads". After you complete the form by filling in Page Name and File Name, push the create button.

You will have a new store page that lists all the auctions for "red wooden machine heads"

As with anything, a little experimentation will make this clearer. And you may want to check the BANS forum as well.

And if i want all the auctions to be keywords I make up, I then have to type in each keyword again?

eshopdaddy works another way, its not so slick, but its easier to make thousands of custom store pages.
The instalation process of eshopdaddy is very unfamiliar, but you can learn it in 5 minutes. Then again, you cant make descriptions for each single shop page, can you do that in BANS?
I have only tried BANS 1.3, nit the version 2, but related to BANS 1.3 eshopdaddy is way ahead. But I have also very big expectations for eshopdaddy for the future. eshopdaddy is constantly developed.

For total control of your ebay niche store you can try PhPBay Pro API. With PHPbay Pro you can have an ebay niche store that is different from the generic look of bans or eshopdaddy sites. It is highly customizable if you know more than html.

$97 is a bit steep, I'm considering either ehopdaddy, phpebay, or bans. not sure which yet.

This one was created with Semiologic Pro, Auction Affiliate Ads, the eBay Editor kit, and RSS feeds from RSS Ground.

You could create something similar with a free template in Wordpress like the 3 column SEO theme I have at GreggHall.com or you can use the free version of the Semiologic theme.

I use Semiologic because there are a lot of other functions and plugins that it has that are not available elsewhere.

I will try to get a Camtasia video up on how to create these kinds of blogs this week.

Why on earth do you put adsense on the site? You dont want to lose the customers to other sites. Dont try to play safe before you know more about your visitors.
