Hello everyone, I finally set up my proxy site with glypephp script with hagiohosting. I registered the domain from namecheap.com I also setup my adsense with google and put it on my site, now it is time to promote my site. I need some advice on how to promote. So far, from reading on this forum, 1) I need to optimize my site which is called SEO. 2) Submit my site to topsites (Where do I find topsites, and how do I submit?) 3) Exchange links, buy links (What do these mean?) 4) Use stumbleupon (I have no idea what this is, how does it work?) 5) submit my site onto newsletter list (Where can I find a newsletter list?) don't listen to people on here who say to promote with newsletters. they know nothing and thats why you see so many "why have my earnings dropped down to 1-2 cents per click!" because your sending trash traffic from other countries 90% of the time with these newsleters.
What according to you is the best way to get quality traffic to proxies? I know that google and yahoo groups works well and also stumble. Any other possible way?
well my methods are secret but they bring in about 10-15$ per day for a proxy which lasts as long as i keep the proxy going. nobody pm me because i won't tell you. But all i will say is don't use newsletters especially ones with traffic overseas. stick with the search engines

I'd set up URL channels to track your adsense for each site. Then sign up for google analytics and they update their stats daily. Analytics will tell you your traffic status (ex. country, uniques, etc)
My service will get you traffic from stumbleupon. If you take a look at my thread in my signature, you will see that people are getting results fairly quickly.

Relying on search engines for a new site may take time for any results. Use H1 keyword tags on your site. Proxy users will go 2&3 pages deep on Google since most page 1 proxies are already blocked. Proxy sites seem to get "passed around" after being published and quality link exchanges work well for steady traffic (MySpace sites, arcade sites etc.) Rss feeds is another way to get traffic (squidoo, stumbleupon and others.)
