    what is the importance of this page ranking?how can we make money from a PR(2/10)site.Is there any possibility .Let me know please...

    It's losing its importance. It basically just determines how many backlinks a website has. You can make money by selling links to other people.

    Jerlene why is it loosing its importance, google nerfed all the sites getting crummy backlinks/buying backlinks/ reciprocal links and probably even to many outlinks! I think the importance went UP!

    Depends on the quality of your site. PR has very little to do with it.

    The whole pagerank system is based on backlinks, therefore it doesn't show how much a web site truly is valuble, I can create a web site with lots of content, well-written and unique -- on the other hand I can create a web site with links linking to it, and the web site with links linking to it will probably get a Pagerank by the next update, and the one with no links won't.

    PR is not going to help you in search results, try to optimize your site with targeted keywords to get good search results.
