Oh boy, and his imaginary donations, and his imaginary crowds of thousands of people at rallies, and his imaginary press coverage nonstop since Q3 fund-raising numbers came out, and his imaginary growing support in already biased phone polls. It's all fake, I tell you!
Fletch, they're anticipating 4,000+ at Philly. IIRC, they had 2,000 at Michigan, 1,500 in Nashville and last night turned out over 200 in Wyoming (whose population is rural and only around 500k). I think USC was around 1,200 as well. What was the count for Paullapalooza in Orlando?
i wonder why he has so many supporters from different countries? maybe because they're tired of our foreign policy too..
You see, I am not worried about what others want, especially some of the guys on this forum who actually support beheadings, etc... for things such as a woman being raped . - heck she let herself get raped so she should die I guess. If the crowd pleaser is what you want, Ron Paul will be your man from what I am seeing. Sure, no one will have to worry about the US helping the little country out that is being attacked. These creeps can go a slaughter a whole group of people without repercussion, they really don't care if people ask them to stop, they don't care if the UN actually was to say something (because they won't) if the US doesn't care and get involved then there will be many slaughtered. What Ron Paul has voted for and stated (that I have read so far) I would back him except on foreign policy, because he doesn't have one. From what I see anyone could launch something at us and his view would be that we deserved it so we won't do anything about it. I am not for being a sitting duck.
these creeps you speak of are all over the continent of Africa, are you saying we should be all over that? and what about Darfur? kudos though to agreeing with everything else
debunked, I sometimes get you and d16 confused. If you're a Christian, I'm wondering if you subscribe to the "Just War" theory. On that note, what exactly is Ron Paul's foreign policy? He does in fact have one, I'm kinda curious to know if you are fully aware of it, and if so why you are against it.
Why would you confuse me with D16? What just war theory are you subscribing me to? I am one for fighting back when necessary. Just like protecting my kids and family, even if I have to die trying, I will. If I have to be somewhat proactive in protecting them I will. Say some guy with a bat in hands says he is going to hurt one of my kids, I will not wait to find out if he means it in order to do something about it. What foreign policy? It seems to be somehow it is our fault including 9-11 because of Iraq according to RP. His only policy seems to be no policy, it isn't our problem, we need to get everyone inside our borders.
commerce and trade yes, foreign intervention no. if Ron Paul were president during 9/11 we would've rooted out all of the original terrorists that were in Afghanistan and Pakistan. (he was all for that) But instead of staying THAT course we went to Iraq and started a whole nother war. Who were we fighting back when we did that? what that was was a 'preventative war' on Iraq so that the possibilities of an attack on Israel wouldn't happen.. not that they couldn't prevent that themselves or anything..
How do you conclude that, nate? I've often pointed out that rp supporters just make up their facts when needed. RP would have sat at the typewriter and written a letter to terrorists asking them to stop. RP has made it clear he will not protect America. The notion that he would go after terrorists is simply laughable. That's the very thing he stands against.
Not quite, but thanks for guessing! I simply sometimes get both of you confused. It wasn't an insult, but I know one of you fellas is pretty big on Christianity and knowledgeable about the bible. This is incorrect. It is not his foreign policy. Paul is a free trader. He believes in Americans traveling between countries and free trade with everyone. He doesn't believe that 9/11 was your fault, or my fault. He does believe that bad policy has encouraged anti-American terrorism. Ron Paul's policy is one that doesn't encourage interventionism or entangling alliances. It does however include defense, and you might be surprised to know that he voted to go after Al Qaeda in Afghanistan, and also proposed a declaration of war for Iraq. Do you know how the Bay of Pigs nuclear crisis was averted? That's the policy that Ron Paul endorses.
Here is the vote record on Afghanistan http://www.vote-smart.org/issue_keyvote_member.php?cs_id=V3064
Me thinks you either do not know what you are talking about, or are just another drone following the RP wave... Bay of Pigs was an Invasion and attempt to overthrow the Cuban Government... It had nothing to do with nukes... It was certainly not "averted", at least not in the context in which you are attempting to describe it. I think you are thinking of the Cuban Missle Crisis, which occurred a year later. Bay of Pigs was named after the Bay of Pigs where the invasion landing took place. It had nothing to do with nukes... Might want to brush up on your history instead of relying on other people to create it for you...
And yes, here are the Constitutional "Letters" that GTech so frequently mocks. http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h107-3076 http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h107-3074 http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h110-3216 Do these sound like the aims of a weak man? http://www.house.gov/paul/press/press2001/pr101101.htm It's time to stop getting the news from Michelle Malkin and Sean Hannity, and start getting the facts.
Yeah sorry, pounding out so many responses, I got mixed up and made a mistake. Paul was called to duty during the Bay of Pigs, and my questions is how was the Cuban missile Crisis averted? So, how was it averted?
Helloooooo? I'm waiting for someone to condemn Paul for giving GWB another tool to defeat terrorists by specifically proposing counter-terrorism bills. And who is going to step up and condemn Paul for having the same foreign policy approach that averted the Cuban Missle Crisis? Where are you guys? Emailing Sean Hannity for backup?
they'll have to wait till Hannity & Colmes is over.. probly around 10 we'll get a reply (i think 10?)
The Bay of Pigs was averted by JFK who directed the CIA to classify the entire fiasco concealing the events in secrecy, that is until 1998, when they were declassified.. So, basically, it was kept hushed... As for the Cuban Missile Crisis, KENNEDY averted nuclear war by agreeing to lift the quarantine and agree not to invade Cuba... In return the Soviets would remove/dismantle their missiles and missile installations.. The US further agreed to also remove Jupiter missiles from Turkey, several months later... I'm not sure what you are getting at here. I've never seen RP mentioned in any of this, either before or during the crisis.
