As some of you may know, PageRank is a green liquid as valuable as gold. The liquid PageRank is stored in 10 gallon cans in the high security vaults at Googleplex, with contingency stocks held at Fort Knox. Unfortunately, with the vast amounts of new sites springing up, and with some Webmasters "hoarding" PageRank and buying links to get more of it - stocks started running low during the second quarter of 2007. Furthermore, the Google employee in charge of stocktaking did not notice the impending disaster, as he was playing on his Nintendo at the time. Google had no choice but to hush up the disaster, which led to the cancellation of the Quarter 3 update, as stocks were critically low and there simply was not enough new PageRank to hand out. At this point, production of new PageRank was stepped up, with more production of the green liquid commisioned under great secrecy to several companies in China and Taiwan. The first new consignments arrived at the Googleplex at the end of September, allowing a PR update last week. Unfortunately, stocks are still critically low and therefore strict rationing had to be introduced this time around. Too assure all Webmasters, Google is striving to build up a healthy stock level in time for the next update penciled in for January 2008. In the meantime - apologies for any inconvenience caused
Forgive me if I whore one of my posts out, but you are wrong. I come to the conclusion as to what pagerank's secret is in a post on my blog. http://www.gospelrhys.co.uk/2007/10/a-knee-to-the-googlies.html
You are right - quick, if you have been given any new PR - hand it back - it could be a health hazard
