PR Has Updated !

Why? Google are now penalising sites that sell links.

 

To be exact, selling links and then not using rel="nofollow" to prevent them from being followed.

 

No change for any of my sites. I think they will stay where they are

 

Hi all,
I noticed PR changes on all our websites and most of them have now PR3 or PR4 and as they are new websites, from PR0 to 4 or 3 is nice. Another think of this Google calculation is that our website flashscore.com fall down from PR4 to PR2. This website is online more than 1 year and I do not understand why, in all websites we are doing the same - looking for quality partners and asking for link exchange. It s possible that 3-way link exchange brings us PR2? Or the value of some directories fall down and our PR too?
Do someone of you have answer for me? Thanks!

And there's your problem. Well part of it anyway. You want pages linking back to you - you don't want reciprocal links appearing out of thin air on short notice. Unlike exchanging business cards, reciprocal linking is not considered to be a legitimate practice among sites that (in layman's terms anyway) are complete strangers (even if those sites are related to each other with regard to their content and purpose).

 

Happy with the result, up to pr5 for my main site!

 

I gained PR from this update, not that PR means anything at all.

i got 1 to 3 for my all 3 websites and also in all the pages.
