Like most directories, mine was effected by the -1 penalization by Google... Do you guys think PageStrength is a fair ranking system for directories? Anyways, my directory is a PageStrength 3.5... What's yours? I've got a feeling people will start showing off their PS instead of PR now... Could be wrong though...

It would end up the same - the thing is, to make it different we have to let our users rate our web sites, and optimize our web sites for our users needs'. It isin't up to a few users to decide which directory is good and which is not. Isin't it a similiar system to the Pagerank system? Meti
I think I must have missed the bulletin that said PS was a measure of anything... PR has about the same worth these days...
From looking at the latest links, I'd be more concerned about the boatload of spam you seem to be getting.
Seems close enough, my measure will be unique and repeat visitors > which bring new customers > which puts $ back into my business, regardless of the marketing used. Any other PR or any combo means little, and is not a focus. I am happy just to use Directory Rate and Directory Critic to tell me how im going at the other end.
