    Hi Gang,
Please check out one of my humor portals and let me know what you think.

    :)

I was running it on Wordpress, but switched over to joomla. I'm a little bummed that I don't have cool keyword rich URLS anymore with Joomla, but what can you do. Does anyone know how to make keyword rich urls with Joomla?

    Thanks!
    -Tony

Looking good with what you have done with Joomla.

For SEO.. you can find some extensions that might be useful for you here:

    SEO extensions

But its a good start.... and needs more content for the other pages.. mind you... I'm not to sure how long you've had your site up... just a suggestion

    Looks good, IMO. :)
It avoids the awful 'boxy' look of a standard Joomla site.

I like the integration of the search bar. The colors are cool too. I'm not crazy about the background image, it might look better just white or another solid color. Otherwise I really like it!

Microbrain, I wanted to try out joomla because it seemed a little easier to make a site look more like a portal than a blog...more collaboration and so on. I think theonion.com uses either mambo or joomla.

Also, I've now added the sh404SEF component to linstink.com! Wow! works like a charm! check out my urls! WOOWHOO!

Just a note with sh404SEF. I had it going nicely but had problems when I did an uninstall. When I did an uninstall and reinstalled sh404SEF.... it seemed to get 404 errors. I followed instructions to remedy it through Joomla forums but those didn't seem to work...

My advise! Don't try uninstall and reinstall. Just my 2bits.

true. I should have done this... I was enjoying the freedom but forgot to read all the documentation before hand.

    My own fault.
