Tried Panoramio for links yet?

If you go to the Bigfoot related page in my signature, and click the Google Earth icon in the colored box, Google Earth will initiate if you have it loaded up. The GPS coordinates in the code will take you to an area by Applegate Lake.

On the map, by the lake are blue dots, and when clicked on, opens a site Panoramio. Those dots are how I first found about that website.

Anyway, if photos are added - and I added about 20, it's available to add a URL with html in the picture comment.

It takes about 40 days for a photo to get through review, and I'm a couple of weeks short.

All my images are mapped. If you don't have a GPS device, but have photos and know the location, you can get the GPS by zooming in to the area on Google Earth and placing the cursor over the building or intersection.

So it may be available to get more inbound links this way. Not sure how many. I'm sure that the more popular the location, the better. Anyhow, I'm trying this out to see what becomes of it.

    Or a couple of months?

I never mind trying an experiment that leaves my link in place for free.

    Thread revival.

So far, traffic has been minimal.

    Even the views are minimal.

Probably since not too many people use Google Earth yet, or Panoramio.

I think that what the photos are of will make a difference too. If it were Niagra falls or something else like Elvis' home, it could be entirely different.

Wow - I have to compliment you on your patience with this one. Seems like it took a very long time to get an answer. Thanks for keeping us informed & good luck with your experiments!
