How to convert word document into a PDF e-book

I have a BIG problem converting my Word document into a PDF e-book. When I save/compile the document into a PDF file all the margins gets fucked up.

I have a link at the bottom of every page. They get lost on some pages when I convert the document.

I have tried several free softwares for converting Word documents to PDF files but none of them has worked satisying.


Can you give me a good tip about this kind of software?

 

Download OPen Office and use the word processor and then Save As pdf file. Easy and cheap.

 

There is an easier solution. Google for "free doc to pdf converter" and you will find a number of professional free for personal use programs. They install as printers and you print to them when you want to create a pdf. They support different feature, including content protection, read only, can print, etc.

 

Yes I have done this, and all the software don't deliver the expected result.
are they not compatible with word 2007?

 

I second Open Office. Its not cheap, Its free.

 

A very simple Word-to-PDF technique is to open your Word document and go to File > Print. You will see an option to "Save as PDF". It works great, although I have no idea if it will meet the e-book need you mentioned. Try it and see.
