Is my room-mate a thief?

This isn't exactly webmaster material, but I still need your opinions...

My room-mate and I split expenses for everything and we get along well except for one thing. He steals T.P. from a fast food restaurant down the street. He will take a roll every day when he walks back from class.

When I told him that it was stealing, he said that it wasn't because they offer it for free. I still think it is wrong. What do you guys think?

Well, yeah, it's stealing... But it's TP!! Not really something to argue about!! If he was stealing money from you, or women, I could see why you'd be upset... But he's stealing TP from a fast food joint. It's funny. :p

Yeah, I guess... but I kinda wonder:
If he steals from a fast food joint, would he steal from me?

I think that is what they call a "leading question"

You know where he puts it.

on second thought you might have been asking something else. The answer tot he second possible ambiguity is:
He puts it in our only bathroom.

Well yes. And the people who say its just TP, you never know. Today its TP, when you leave it be and don't discourage it, then tommorow it'll be pop. Just pop right? Then watches, then clothes, then jewlerry. Next the cops will be raiding your room to check and blaming half of it on you for obstruction of justice and for helping a criminal.

Its only TP, nothing to worry about.

I tried using that TP and it is seriously a substandard product. It is worth it to pay for cottenelle.

the only fair thing to do if for him to take his shi*'s there too [IMG]

TP in and of itself isn't a big deal but it's still stealing. I mean how expensive is TP??? ok, well the good stuff is pricey.

If it's TP today, what is it tomorrow?

ketchup, salt, pepper packets? he might start stealing *hit he doesn't need! Hey, I don't need this bib or high chair but what the hell!
