What are quality backlinks?

Plz tell me that what are quality backlinks and how can I get these quality backlinks?

 

When you get a link from a ''quality'' site, it is termed as a quality backlink.

The definition of the word quality varies from person to person. Usually a quality site would mean a non spammy, original content site with good rankings which has been around for a good amount of time.

i would also say that a quality backlink is one from a trusted related site with a good keyword as anchor text, non reciprocated is even better.

I agreed with him. quality backlinks you can get throug quality sites having good pr as well as good backlinks and outgoing links as well.

 

Quality backlinks mean backlinks from sites which have high PR and are themed. If you are getting a one way link its much better. To know how to find out backlinks to any site you can check out mah blog in mah signature..

Buddy i was tryin to help someone.. and its a long story cant jus sit and write all of that here.. and especially when i've written it thr.. i haven't build the blog to earn money.. i earn enough by gettin sites ranked.. i've jus built it to help others learn wat i have learnt.. and now if you think it's "SHAMELESS SELF PROMOTION".. then probably you need reconsider that... lol

Yeah, it's not like someone who calls themself "SEO GURU" needs to do any kind of shameless self promotion, right? Let alone an SEO GURU with a PR of n/a.

There are a lot of different definitions we could throw out to try and answer this question. Pick whichever of the following makes sense to you. A quality link is

1. One that humans click, regardless of SEO
2. One from a quality site, especially a site you don't already have links from
3. A difficult link to get, one your competition doesn't have, which sets you apart
4. Links given organically on merit, without you having to go looking for them

The best way to get these is to spend 80 % of your time and energy on improving your site, and 20 % on getting people to see it. Quality links go out to quality sites, and every person who is able to give them has their own definition of quality. It could be content, layout, clever use of ajax, what have you. The easiest (and hardest) thing to do is just cover all the bases, to make something people will naturally want to link to.

Or, you could submit to hundreds of directories (hours and hours and hours of work), post on forums and blogs, and have virtually the same link profile as all of your competition.

angel eyes: If you want to check your backlinks, forget entering [ link:www. yourdomain.com ] in Google as they don't give much information. Try using Google Webmaster Tools [ www. google.com/webmasters/ ] and/or check in Yahoo! by entering [ linkdomain:www. yourdomain.com ] who give much more backlink information.

So–smammy sites who have manged to get PR (probably through link buying) are quality sites by your definition? I think not.

Quality sites are websites with quality content!. There are sites around with 0PR but contain incredibly useful and original content.

 

A quality backling is:
A link from a good PR website, which has not many other outlinks on it.
Preferably you want to be on the homepage.
The website should have something to do with your website, if you website is about kitesurfing, then a backling from a good pagerank website about surfing in general would be perfect.
If there are many other links to other websites on the page your links is then the quality of your link will not be as high as it would be when you are the only link on that page.
Your link also should contain your keyword in it. If you want to rank high for the keyword 'kitesurfing' the link should be something like 'All about kitesurfing'

It not easy to get quality links. Because even you think the site was quality you're not still sure if they would link to you. Just try to get related links and site that has no links pointing to bad site.

 

There are too many point which define the quality backlink some of them are listed below

• Get Links from Pages that Match Your Topic
• Pr of backlink page should be equal to or more than 4
• Number of link in backlink page should be equal to or less than 30
• Title of backlink page
• Anchore text should contain a keyword
