WidgetBucks.com - Are they really good?

There are many alternatives to Adwords... WidgetBucks.com is now a commonly known one. Check my sig for one that is still under everyone's radar =)

 

I am also curious if they are paying or not. Will watch this tread.

 

I've targeted my ads instead of using the Merchsense, and the return has been equal or better than adsense.

And you know what, even if it wasn't, it's filling up whitespace on my sites, it's not costing me anything to have the ads up, (especially the 160x300), and it's much easier to manage than some micro-marketing affiliate programs.

I didn't make $100 on my first day in Adsense, so I'm not expecting that here either.

 

I have not used it yet what are your thoughts?

 

i think it will be better than adsense since they pay more and allow you to choose your banner ad type

 

We'll see in december if they pay...I'll probably get at least 500$ for my first payment...

Nah I reckon they'll pay up - look at all the ppl trying for a day or a week - and all those free conversions !! People are dropping like flies.

The impressions or CPM may seem like a good price rate - the thing is - that it's not your actual page impressions (that's kinda deceiving) , it's the Widget impressions that are counted - as seen above - only about 60% of page impressions create a widget impression.

A widget or several on one page can take upwards of 5-10 seconds to load - now how many of the visitors navigate away from the page before then ?

 

Keep update if they pay or not if they did then i"ll signup

 

I dont know if there still is hidden links in the WidgetBucks code. If it is, Google will penalize your site.
