... or anything else other than the norm (for your country)?

I had seaweed once; it's quite good actually. It was in little flat pieces like paper about 2 x 2 inches.

I've had dulce before (seaweed) while I was in Nova Scotia. Wasn't that bad, but I couldn't snack on it like I thought I could. Just didn't sit well after a while.

Now, the smoked Haddock....that's another story mmmmm

You know those Listerine PocketPack things? What I had was flat like one of those, and in a pack too. I only got one piece though.

I like to eat dired seaweed called hoti. But if I remember correctly gelatin is made from seaweed so most of us might have already eaten seaweed without knowing it.

I eat seaweed all the time. I buy a seasoning made from dry seaweed mixed with sesame and poppy seeds and have it on pretty much everything I eat instead of salt and pepper. Unless it dry and salty (like in sushi/nori rolls), I don't like it. I can't stand seaweed soup.

    From wikipedia:
"Gelatin is a translucent, colourless, brittle, nearly tasteless solid substance, extracted from the collagen inside animals' connective tissue. "
Being a weakling sissy vegetarian, I obviously avoid anything with gelatin in it. :p

I like seaweed too. As a processed form like seaweed paper cracker, in sushi or soup.

I forgot about seaweed crackers :) I love 'em. I can't open a packet without eating all of them in one go.
