hi, i don't think you would like my opinion.

i will just say that you were very trusting sending money to a stranger in the hope that you would receive the money back.

what isolated island do you live on? i hope you receive your money :)

PayPal would help only if the transaction involved physical goods... Did you finance your PayPal transaction with a CC? If yes, then contact your bank and they will refund your money after a brief investigation. PayPal will not be pleased but you will get your money :)

rep blobs as CB pointed out.

i have been around DP for 3 years, and it aint hard to fall for a scam, the problem is, to many people fall for a scam when there is no need to.

looking at itrader is not a case of looking at a column of green happy faces and thinking wow i can trust this guy.
you have to click on the happy faces and look ar the types of deals they were, in days of old you could give itrader for exchanging diggs and other crap, you still can to a point.
thats not proof of money exchanged.

buyers very rarely get neg itrader, this guy was buying itrader for a $1, not selling the signups.

look closer at who you are dealing with.

look at the profile and make sure it's not a clone of an older member.
do all deals within the DP pm system and forums, not on yahoo messenger.

last of all, ask people questions, look at the itrader and see whos online from the list and send them a pm, and ask how they found the person to deal with, and ask an older member if they would risk dealing with someone.

i have never been scammed, yet i am owed about $120, but thats in small loans that i really didnt expect to get back anyway.

What did you wrote when you sent money to that guy? If you did not say much, then you can file a dispute claiming that the service/product was "significantly not as described". This is a sure way to get your money back.... there is one "but" though - you will get the money back ONLY if there are funds in the guy's account. If that account is empty, then you will get nothing. Sorry mate.

scammers are cowards..because it's sooo easy to scam someone, all you need is to take advantage of a generous person....

its sad that people do this and get away with it..
