Does anyone remember checking page rank prediction tools on www.iwebtool.com

Now that we are seeing a total page rank update have you noticed how NONE of the predictions came true.

I know now not to trust page rank prediction tools.

Why u are using PageRank tools in the first place? PageRank is only useful for the webmaster who believe it is magic bullet to #1 Google rank, which it isn't. External PageRank not used at all.

Just a little tip, no one can predict pagerank. Its just not possible, no one knows what is used by google to calculate it. Don't even bother getting your hopes up with any so called "prediction tool". :)

    Hey there,

My prediction came true - PR0 to PR2.

My client's page rank is really weird though. His main page went from PR2 to PR3 as I expected, but some of his inner pages are PR4 and PR5 and they have no backlinks to them from external sites.

    Sincerely,
    Travis Walters

    Really?

    http://www.alleyinsider.com/2007/10/googles-pagerank-huge-traffic-drop.html

The point you're assuming is that we can't see the 'real' PR and that what's shown on the toolbar is different.

Anyone got proof they're different? I'm interested in seeing that part.

Also, reading the comments on that post indicate that what we're seeing now is actually months old. Which does make sense. If true it also coincides with a site of mine that has jumped from 10 to 20 new members per day to 40 to 50. The PR on the site went from 3 to 6. So those numbers match up

I jotted down the predicted PR from that tools and compare the number with real PR. And the result is the predicted PR is totally wrong. I reckon how the tool calculate PR.
