Google's 2007 Q4 PageRank (PR) Update - 10/13/07

One of my website had a decrease from 5 to 3, it's crazy... then I saw youtube and realized that something is wrong... youtube is currently 3...

 

My forum has gone 2 -> 4, and I'm happy!

 

5 of my sites got the new PR.
I have 2 of them about 1 month old and they got PR 2.
My main site (3 years old) from PR 5 to 4, but I see a lot of intern pages with PR now (1,2 or 3)

I guess if Google will update the SERPS too?!!

Edit: just checked and my first one has gone down from 4 to 3, just another 200 or so to check now.....WOW ..... i am excited

1 website go up from 0 to 2.

But I think that my biggest website is going down from 3 to 0
I hope it's not true.

 

The think Google also have a little bit of the "drive for money madness" in them.

The market decides and I think the PR market will keep going. If Google went to all this trouble to slap so many sites wouldn't you think PR is actually worth something?

 

PR2 to PR4. I'm a bigger authority than YouTube right now

For my three main sites:

1. PR6 to PR5
2. PR5 stays PR5
3. PR5 to PR4

Link structures are very similar for all three so it makes no sense to me that they changed. I believe that the PR6 was a solid 6 and close to PR7 so that one makes the least sense.

Google PR would still remain a valuable asset and could become even meaningful unless other search engine will come up with new ranking indicator. we can not live without ranking whether we deny it or not. just take a look around. our life are surrounded by numbers all over the place.

 

The dance is still going on, one of my website reports PR1, 2, 3, and N/A. The good thing is that I can now see PR update on internal pages.

 

My sites are either staying the same or going up marginally.

The prediction tools at this point built my hopes a litte to high :-(

 

Sites that had no changes in links generally lost -1.

Some lost more depending on the link structure.

Looks like those that had high PR from just a few incoming links were most vulnerable to -2 drop.

 

I got a PR 2 from PR 0 for two of my sites....... COOOOL

 

i up i near all, i had some surprises and one sad...

 

A couple of my sites went from PR0 to PR3. I did some link building, but not for the intention of PR. I could care less about it, really.

 

My page rank increased a lot on each of my sites.

When I noticed this I was really happy.

Thanks Digital Point and all members involved with making this happen. If it wasn't for DP I wouldn't have know half the marketing techniques I know to this day.
