Youtube is PR3 now! Huge drop from PR8 WOW!

Its amazing and scary, I see www.youtube.com as PR3 now, thats crazy!!

 

i see 8 .. extra characters to get over 10 letters.

 

I see it as PR8. If it is showing PR3 on some DCs that's a good sign - it means we might not have been shafted PRwise after all!

Isn't it google that owns youtube? Do they penilize thier own sites?

 

I see PR3 on my toolbar and its also shows up on some datacenters using pr checker tools.

 

I saw PR8, but dont worry this is a very popular site, a Google site

 

Clearly Google have messed up somewhere or they are really changing there algorithm around.

 

i see a pr 3 and also yahoo is a 9 now... lucky me, i actually went up to a 4 from a n/a

 

I wonder how they are ranked a pr 8 any ways. They have no real unique text just alot of topics and post with videos. I can see being listed high for videos alot but not every search term like they were.

Erm, backlinks perhaps? Every video embedded somewhere else equals one backlink.

 

Well... it's not a penalty for Youtube - it will not decrease... it just will prevent from spammers.

PR is based on links and link alone. You could have have a completely blank page with pr10.
