Is this thread to be treated as "news" or as a personal advertisement?

I will confirm that PageRank is changing. A customer's site, which I launched at the end of July is getting its first ranking.

I sure hope they are happy with PR1 because that looks to be the score for them!

You can change your Toolbar to use the new PR values, that way you can view them while browsing instead of querying each URL individually.

Add this line to your Windows Hosts file:

    209.85.135.102 toolbarqueries.google.com

Or for more detailed instructions see: here

    On many datacenters I’m seeing PR4 —> PR5 for jimfeeney.org.

No big deal, and I wouldn’t take up thread space except for the interesting question this poses — My non-directory website has in the past received a substantial portion (although by no means all) of its PR juice from directory links. With the apparent PR devaluation of many directories in this update, I would have expected the ripple effect to pass on to me in the form of a lower PR. Yet multiple DCs show a higher PR coming. Curious! Any thoughts?

Well a pitty i can't click all the three options in the poll since I have some times moving, some stable and some decreasing (didn't monitored so most probably lost links).

It could be that google will only dock the link selling directories, if your in mainly free ones I see no problem how google could dock you for that.

    My 2 Cents!
