I've learned that some people get offended by some people using words like terrorist, in terms of labeling a suicide bomber etc, sometimes it's just dumbed down westerners who think the word is bringing people who just have an interest in pyrotechnics into disrepute, it's funny though.

I have learned there are people who are hateful, bigoted and worse yet, highly educated but ignorant. I have a couple of them on ignore, because they are a waste of time to have a discussion with since they don't discuss, just rattle off one line attacks.

 

I learned that the 5 or 10 people who support Bush like to hang out here.

You probably won't learn that those you think support Bush, could care less if it was Bush, Clinton, Reagan or ??? but support the USA.

I learned BDS is a real problem for many.

I enjoy finding middle ground with people I debate. Sometimes, I've even found middle ground with lorien and GTech, and it makes me feel like discussing this stuff is productive.

Everybody is wrong at sometime. Anyone who claims different is being disingenuous.

Let's get through the election and then I will breathe a sigh a relief on this one. But I agree with your sentiment completely. This country was founded on not having a King, ruling class or imperial ambitions.

 

come on, bush made some mistakes but i know his intentions were innocent, he isn't bright enough to master mind any conspiracies. However he may have been deceived or manipulated into certain decisions....

 

I'm not sure, but I think SB might have been making a play on words....

 

I support Bush, I think some decisions were premature, but I feel he wants what was best for all
