Actually it is known fact that Toolbar PR Exported and Google Internal PR are two different numbers. Do some research before trying to discredit anyone.

If your theory was right, ALL sites would have lost PR .....not some

I know those are two different numbers, but still having same internal number and changing the external number just for any reason sounds deceptive to me. And thats what I know is not happened. :)

Sorry, what theory you are talking about?

Over the last two weeks one of my sites has dropped from PR4 to PR2, that is awful. I don't really understand the reasons of such a behaivor. I do sell links through TLA but that's really funny money. Enough for paying the hosting bills.
What do Google needs? I won't be able to sell links for the whole internet and sites I sell links for won't make anything really great by buying these links.
That's very sad and I am very dissapointed

Not everyone is a DP obsessive, some people actually use the Toolbar PR to measure how important a website is (that is what Google tells them it does after all) and have no idea how it's calculated - they want a link on the site because they think the site is more important than those with lower page ranks, even though it probably isn't.

I know it's hard to believe, living inside the DP/Webmaster World, but there are millions of people out there who only own one site and sell products from it and want to get more visitors to it and probably get all those naf emails about links and how important they are, and they have this Google toolbar that tells them that some sites are better than others...

I know it's a thin line and impossible to prove, but I'm sure a lot of non mass-website owners really don't think about passing on page rank but still use PR to choose a website they want to buy a link from. I know I know, totally "out there" man!

Finally ! The PR is being updated , and not only in order to penalize links purchases. It is specially the case for "new" websites... For the moment only on few datacenters...
