thanks to all your advices, now i have my own proxy site! http://turbotax.cc currently it is running Glype. phproxy seems very popular, but i have read that it doesn't support myspace and some other websites. is this true? if so, why are there so many proxy sites running phproxy? i suppose the target market is students, so myspace access is a must -- am i wrong? i also want your advice regarding submission to proxy toplists. some people say submitting the proxy will get your site banned sooner (similar to being added to a virus database, if you get what i mean). is it true? to submit or not submit?
Good luck with your proxy, I personally have never submitted my proxies to any top sites etc and they earn a steady income. You could try the odd news letter but make sure you know where the traffic is going to come from as the last thing you want is some porn hungry iranians useing all your bandwidth and earning you zilch.

yeah, that's weird. isn't glype supposed to be able to login to myspace?? my proxy is very new so there is no bandwidth usage yet
You said you have $1000 and you started a proxy? Great earn 0.01$ $1 $2 from google adsense and wait 45 days for their checks to be cleared in indonesia.. or wait when they smart price you for stumble upon digg traffic
surf4fun, i have never had a proxy before, so for once i want to know how it's like (and most responses in my $1000 thread say "start a proxy") of course, proxy is not good for long-term. i still agree with you that the way to riches is through selling advertising. i want to create my own service; i just don't know what kind of services that'd be (yet) UPDATE: i changed the glype script from 4.0 beta to 3.0 final. myspace is now working
ok brother good luck dont take it to heart my comments.. you are already on the right path with glype and myspace working.. ------------ the secret of proxy traffic is one proxy.org (which is expensive and i dont recommend) 2nd is yahoo and google group ( there is some ppl selling 16k and 7k users proxy group advertising also karan who have like 3000 ppl just pm them) free yahoo and google groups (like 15 or so) dont work.. very bad for starting.. they are being spammed to death.. so dont bother anyone providing free yahoo group service posting..(my own thoughts) 3rd the most important.. get stumbles and diggs everyday.. exchange here in digital point forum and do it every day 24/7 4tj post on teen forums and proxy forums and school college related forums.. also in Warez-bb(not allowed to post) type forums link heaven... 5th try bidvertiser or other cheap ppc and target all proxy networks. 6th find some top school student... and do some word of mouth and ask him to post ur site name in their school college bathroom/toilet
