I've had it setup for months and never got round to promoting it - please do not ask for earnings or stats as they don't exist.

Free transfer of domain name to GoDaddy account - been registered for over a year and has until 2008-08-03 for renewal.

Hosted on free hosting account but can be moved - needs MySQL and PHP.

Based on myviralpix script - see http://www.myviralpix.com/ for further information.

Control panel allows you to limit image sizes / dimensions, moderate images and users etc...

Potential to be a really great site - good domain name and user friendly.

I don't know Dreamhost - if it's cPanel based then yes definitely. It's straightforward to install - full instructions come with it.

- The existing hosting is with HostMe123 which offers 300 MB Disk Space, 10 GB Monthly Transfer, PHP, MySQL and POP3 e-mail.

- You can limit image sizes in the script to conserve bandwidth and to protect against people uploading humungous images.

- It's templated using smarty which means you just edit a few files' HTML code to put in your own adsense/aff links/site links without fear of 'breaking' the code.

I got a 404 when clicking the "share with friends" for an album

EDIT: seems to only happen when you first create an album?

and the "Grab code" page doesn't insert the Base URL of the site. And still refers to the original site this script is from.

Site looks and works good though

 

seems like a potentially nice site. Not sure it's worth $75 though.
