I really believe that it is possible to make money online for a living but I notice why it is so hard to make money online for novice... They want instant gratification and become frustrated when they don't see result for all their hard work. Some of them don't even work hard and expect to make $100 + per day. If they are working hard, then sometime they might not be working smart. I too was like this when I first started online, but every time I made a sale...I kept moving forward... Yep it did take a lot of work just to make my first earning online. What I learned that can help you: 1. Get into self improvement 2. Talk and make friends with those who are on the same path as you 3. Make lots of mistakes Not deliberately 4. Alway be TAKING ACTION What I found that make money: 1. Affiliate Marketing is BEST 2. Create a short valuable report and sell cheap. What I did to get profitable traffic: 1. Article Marketing 2. Social Sites 3. Youtube and videos I am still learning and only making about $300-500 per month right now, but its gonna grow if I keep it up. IF I CAN MAKE MONEY ONLINE...I REALLY THINK ANYONE CAN. I'M JUST A NORMAL PERSON AND BARELY WRITE GOOD ENGLISH
I think you hit the nail on the head there. Don't forget to learn from your mistakes and continue to make everything better with plenty of testing and tracking. You write gooder english than most people in this forum.
This is so true. It describes me mostly, though I haven't given up. I'm doing a lot more research and experimenting.
the truth is that is impossible for every one in internet marketing to succeed. Some do, some don't. It is just how smart and how hard you work. Everyone thinks that any 12 years old highschool kid can became a succesfull IM. While this might be true sometimes, it happens very rarely.
thank you for these tips. i feel like i am a bit impatient when it comes to this whole internet marketing thing, so your tips were a good "grounding" for me. i really need to venture into the affiliate world more, but I feel really content with writing my articles and doing article marketing. i'm starting to see some good steady growth in that area, but of course, i want it to be faster, but it's all about plugging away and staying consistent. thanks again.
A lot of newbies faced information overload. There are so many different paths can be took in internet marketing, sometimes, making the decision of where to start already is a major problem. After deciding the path, most will find that different path actually linked direct or indirect, and soon, without concentration, they lost... Be concentrate and you get more
Internet marketing is no different than running an offline business, IT'S BUSINESS!! I think most newcomers seem to get influenced into this through all those "Make Millions Secrets" systems/scams and truly believe what they read/see on a great sales letter... Most usually lack the knowledge base needed in simple business on or offline and expect to dive into the deep end and find gold overnight. Your efforts, mistakes, learning curve is important for any new venture, and if you really think buying $7 ebooks is going to get you there, then you proved yourself as a customer not a marketer. My best advice would be to sign up to at least 5 boards and spend a month reading/testing free systems/getting as much knowledge base as possible without overloading and trying 250 things at once. GET A MARKETING LIBRARY - this isn't 'make money online' secret ebooks that i'm suggesting, I mean real, legit B2B and B2C books or courses that teach you about monetizing products, customer behavior, psychology, influence, marketing in all mediums, learning to be a business powerhouse not a AFF/IM overnight success. I rambled, sorry... in short think BIG - prepare well, and never stop the learning curve. You will throw away and eliminate or 'figure out' a lot of unprovensystems that are not profitable until you find a few that are. When you do, duplicate those efforts. Until you do, keep plugging and researching others proven systems. Lastly - HAVE FUN, when you get frustrated take a break, this game isn't going anywhere and the next level isn't far away. If you can't enjoy what you do then you're better off w/a 9-5 making others rich and proving their systems Cheers and keep the course, Norb.
what affiliate marketer did you use? Adbrite, chitika? It made you more money than adsense? I have been hearing that adsense is the way to go.
I read your blog on writing short e-books on products you are selling as an affiliate, putting in your affiliate links in the e-books and then giving them away. I had forgotten all about that very smart idea. Good job, man!
After 10 months my site with 2000 visitors a day isn't even making $1 per day any more. After spending 20+ hours per week on the site I have come to the conclusion that making money online is next to impossible for the newbie
Don't get discouraged Padawan. Keep researching, optimizing, and adding quality content. It will come.
Thanks for sharing I firmly believe one can get exposure for free if they just write some good articles. Which I have trouble with, but Ive seen it work.
