Easy $57 if you make my Logo!

Hi DPers,

A typical Make my logo contest. This time for homehives.com


homehives is a website about different methods of simple housebuilding (Earth, StrawBale, Metal) etc. Its target audience are non-professional builders. so generally your typical Mom and Dads who want to save money by using some alternative building material/Techniques.

My requirements are, the logo most look Fresh, it most have something to do with my topic (like a little roof on top of some letters or somthing lol... you are the designer). The link www.homehives.com is just how the site is planning to look however if you make a good enough logo that doesn't quite gel with the current color scheme I happy to consider changing my current Design.

Contest Details
- The winner will receive $57 USD via paypal
- Contest will end within 14 days of the thread starting, however can be finished earlier.
- The logo must be completely unique and have no copyright material in it.
- I will retain full rights to the logo and the designer will not be able to distribute the logo elsewhere
- The logo will be of very high resolution and quality and available in jpg, png, psd and/or illustrator file (if used)

- I like the HomeHives look
- Try adding a .com to the bottom right of the logo. (maybe the little orange line can point to the .com)
- I like how you tried to come up with a graphic. I think it would make a great favicon.
- ATM it reads like HHomeHives

Maybe if you could make the H with the roof more readable it could stand as its own letter.

The 3rd logo is my favourite of the three. However the roof at the moment looks kindof like its floating. I think the words are a little too spaced apart. I was wondering if you could bring them a bit nearer, make them a bit bolder and have an outline. Similar to the logo on http://www.seobook.com/ (which your logo sort of reminds me of already).

Your logo is good but has greater potential.

I like the logo alot. I was wondering if you could remove the roof from the brown logo, (so basically it looks like the blue and gray one EXCEPT it is brown and has that cool path going through the doorway)

It looks like you put alot of thought and it is a very impressive design.

Thanks for the feedback!! I wasn't quite sure what you meant by atm,but i tried to make it as close to what you describe it.
I put a little H in the middle,it looks more like a window!
