What if your clicks have quadruple but your traffic hasn't in a week? My ctr has doubled as well? Something wrong with this trend? It's a proxy network as well... Has anybody here even had adsense on proxies for longer than 2-3 months and no how to insure themselves from risks? Thanks.
you've probably been click bomb. lol just use channel to track the clicks, and monitor your logs. the last thing you can do contact google. cheers
Well I mean ctr is not even topped four percent ever so i'm not so sure of that... Anybody else had previous experiences? And most of all how are you guys preventing click-bombing? I have my own techniques as well that seem to work for the most part. Also, adsense seems to be fixed as of now but my stats are totally wrong; weird.
Yea I was thinking that sense I noticed the Google-Media (Adsensebot) bot ran through my site today. The ads are pretty well targeted, i'd click on them.
does anybody know of all the risky countries to ban / redirect? I already have done so to china thanks.
I believe China blocked many outside country sites. So blocking them wasn't a problem they already blocked us.
Thanks for the advice however, not true... I've had proxies in the past getting Chinese traffic. Was heavy spam.
Thanks for letting me know, than the test I did was wrong. There was some site that tests to see if your site was blocked or not in china. Many people tried tons of sites and the results turned out to be "blocked". It seems that it could be his system that was providing us with wrong results; it's nice to know that it was most likely wrong. Kind Regards.
The first thing I would do is contact Google. This way if you get banned you can have proof that you notified them. * Many proxies have been banned, search the forum for more info. Peace,
Also, yea I sent them an invalid ID report letting them know. Although the clicking isn't substantial, I want to make sure I don't get banned since I have a large project coming out soon. Or else I will have to wait and go with someone like burst or vcm. Ahh, I know what site you're referring too, sometimes China instantly blocks sites while others it wont :/; they usually get around to it though. But in all cases I just go ahead and block Chinese traffic anyway on proxies just because I have had a lot of issues with traffic coming out of there.
