Google's 2007 Q4 PageRank (PR) Update - 10/13/07

One of my good ranking site dropped from PR6 to PR5. But there is no difference in the SERP.

 

This is a business forum. Please stop with the expletives.

thats what i noticed too.. i made some redesigns... sites dropped.. but traffic and SERP are rising..

What I mean is this, people come here to make money, learn new things so their website and/or business can grow. No one wants to read foul language.

It's not that everyone is uptight here, it's just the consensus of having some respect for others. It's like smoking in a crowded restaurant.

Yep, already removed some on one site (noticed they don't have a link to my site anymore) and removed the phrase.

Some of our sites have changed, but most have stayed the same.

As always, who knows what G is doing.

It doesn't really matter to us, our portfolio companies, or our investors.

 

So, I also have a feeling that google has re-calibrated their pagerank standard.

Pagerank isn't that all important. Of course there's still much to be improved, but what PR is good for is beeing accepted by other sites with high PR. Of course, it helps for search on google engine, but if all websites drops, it comes close to nothing except increasing PR limit, 10 beeing higher than before. But some says their PR upped... Maybe they implemented a more complex evalution of content of 2 sites to verify backlinks relevance?

Well hopefully now that the first update is done, they'll do a full export soon. I'm anxious to see what i'll have. PR 0 sucks!

Seriously I don't think the change will do much differences for all PR 0.

 

Well I think that the malicious attack that just finished up was just preparing for the real update! Like Google just cleared its throat!

I believe that all of the other types of sites and the rest of the directories and blogs and such will still go up or DOWN yet but I could be wrong!

Boy what a day yesterday and I probably looked like a fool posting all over but I sure got hit hard with 8 sites but I am back to normal now!!! hehe
