How insensitive is CNN?? Calling someone "Cancer Boy"

Was just checking CNN.com and noticed a story titled

"Pit Bulls kill cancer boy's miniature horse"

The story is from an affiliate news site KSAT who actually have a much more appropriate headline for the story "Pit Bulls Kill Miniature Horse Donated To Cancer-Stricken Child". Anyways I was totally shocked to see this, especially from a site like CNN... imagine how that childs parents must feel knowing their son is being called "cancer boy" in the mainstream national and international news.

Maybe its just me, but I find that awefully insensitive to the childs condition.

Wow that was fast, just refreshed CNN.com and looks like they are on the ball.. they have changed the story now to: "Pit Bulls kill child's make a wish pet"

Thank God that wasn't up there too long, but a shame it went up at all.

If I was that kids parents I would almost want to sue CNN, thats is just plain mean to call someone "cancer boy".

And also.. I noticed the Digg entry is kind of screwed up.. now says "Was just checking CNN.com and noticed a story titled "Pit Bulls kill cancer boy's miniature horse" To Cancer-Stricken Child". Anyways I was totally shocked to see this, especially from a site like"

Somebody had to be "joking" or something, that's just wrong. Or else, they left it as a temporary title and forgot to change it back.

    It's ridiculous.

They have been insensitive for years now.

Showing our soldiers getting killed on tv.

I hate how fox won't admit they are biased towards conservatives/republics, but I prefer that
over hearing people called cancer boy.

TBH- that's one of the funniest headlines I've ever seen!

    Insensitive...yes. But also very funny!

CNN is crap anyway....they're the kings of insensitivity. Which I guess is what happens when you try to turn news into entertainment.

    CNN = Contains No News

CNN's Republican comedian Glenn Beck is making jokes about how there are unAmerican people who are loosing their hoses right now in California. That's not just insensitive, that's inhuman.

If you want to join my forum www.Verbalbattle.com and explain the situation and that a boycott is needed I will Digg submit it... that way we can leave DP out of it because I am sure they do not want/need the headache.
