How hard would it be to rank in G for this...

Up until I did this post I have been working on getting "Towables" and "towable tubes" to the first page. I realize that I need to do some onsite seo for "Boating Supplies". I will start changing all of that very soon. At this time we sell mostly towables but have recently started adding all of our products in our shopping cart.

I have learned alot about links and anchor lonks and the off site optimization, but now I realize that I need to do alot with the on-site optimization. That is the area that gets nervous. I dont know what I'm doing at all in that area. It's time to start learning.

Any other tips on what I should do are still appreciated. Constructive critisism is a great tool when used correctly...

Besides your metas and title, this is the first thing bot will see when crawling your page. Have the term reach out and slap the bot in the face and stink of boating supplies.

- unless you get a lot of traffic from the Mables keywords, for which you rank on the first page, but ask yourself, does it bring enough traffic and sales? Can I get more traffic with other terms? You really need to experiment on your own here. I own a boat myself, but I don't know a whole lot about the boating market, SE traffic-wise. On-Page SEO is somewhat like trolling for that big fish, you play around with the lures until you find out which one they are biting on and then keep offering them that one until they get burnt out on it.

 

Grandaddy, Thank you very much, that is the kind of help I really need. Specific ways to improve. I will start working on that.

With the Mable series tubes, those are our biggest sellers, I want to rank at the top for each of those plus some others. We paid about $2k for the year for adwords on just those towables alone this year. We still made money even after that with those towables. So those keywords convert very well during the spring and the summer. So I dont want to lose those from the first page.

But we have been adding alot more products lately and "boating supplies" would really help us with traffic. So if you can think of a way to keep boating supplies and those other keywords up on google let me know.

I will definatly be changing those suggestions that you made.

when you go to rank for keywords go for at least 4 keyword at a time
