Wow! Great advice! I'm guilty of a few of those things myself. Your point about the blog template is very good. This should be stickied!
Agreed to 80%.... I know people from blogspot and non english speaking countries make decent money from their websites.
The other day a guy found a $100 bill in the parking lot, so everyone stop working on your site and rush out!
Good tips. I will agree with most of what you said. Basically only hard work will make you money. It takes time. I make 20 a day in adsense and that is after 6 months of hard work. 5-10 hours a week. It's well worth the work but you have to be into it in order to make money
I m Egyptian i make about 1 $ a day which is equal to a working day here in egypt I m looking forwards to 5 $ a day which es like a colleage professor work per day in egypt I earn the 1 buck from 3 blogs in arabic now i have about 15 blogs under construction as F.R.I.E.N.D.S 4 of them are in english
Spent $5??? where ? on adsense??? And with 0 visitors, made u $67.... are u drunk or wht... will pray 4 u.......
I also disagree.... I'm earning $10-15 per day for last 2 months and I am happy and its getting more n more per day... Its all about your way of advertising... directory submissions, posting ur links to forums or blog comments... and digging your own contents to social bookmarking websites like http://www.digg.com etc..
You are wrong. Most of your statements are false. This shows that you have no idea about marketing, and you are one of those losers waiting 5 months for an adsense check and so on. Making money online is easy, but i am not gonna try to explain you and support my statements. Just keep it in mind: making money on the web is easy, probably the easiest money you will ever make. Show me in real life how many 13 years old kids make more than 10 000$ with a job, and i will show you 3 times more such kids who are making this money on the web.
I got a sense that this was written to somewhat discourage those who are about to start their Internet business ventures. Yes, hard work is required to make enough money to quit your job, but to make some supp income, a sloppy work would do Everyone starts somewhere - people learn by doing and making mistakes. Very few can become successful with the very fist website they make. My 2c.
I think that if you're a beginner, you should create a site and learn as you go along. That is very important. I know a lot more now than i did 6 months ago and i still have a lot to learn, but you need to actually do it to learn and not give up.
I do not agree with some of the stuff this guy said. I've only had my website up for about a month adnd already made like $0.70. I'm a success story in the making.
I think we have to write on subjects that attract the much older folks. Younger people knows what Ads by Google is and can see better than oldies. So blending the ad ain't gonna help with young subjects. I will find a subject that oldies look for and will blend ads into the menu links, since oldies can't see too well, the clicks might hit the Ad instead of the menu.
